Born and raised in Ypsilanti, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.

I began my career in the insurance industry with The Mutual of Omaha Companies as a captive agent in the fall of 1987.

In the mid 90’s, the industry began to move away from the captive system and I shifted focus from representing a company to representing my clients.

My affiliation with Ann Arbor Insurance Associates in 1999 provided an opportunity to work with an established and growing base of clients providing life, health, disability, long-term care, retirement planning and group benefits.

I have continued my education in the industry by achieving the Life Underwriter’s Training Council Fellow, Certified Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
